• Membership of the BOU is open to anyone interested in ornithology, birds and birdwatchers, from the local patch birder interested in birds and their conservation, to the university students and professors whose work within the science of ornithology. Membership of the BOU brings you Ibis, the BOU's international ornithological journal four times a year.
• Members receive the BOU's international journal of avian science, Ibis, four times a year and you can choose whether to receive the journal in print, online or both!
• Reduced rate subscriptions are available for students and those resident in developing countries. For further information contact the BOU Office or email bou@bou.org.uk (remove spaces)
• Life membership is available by either a single payment of £660 (by Gift Aid for UK taxpayers), by five annual instalments of £132, or by four annual payments of £165 under a four-year covenant.
