ROGER CLARKE1952 - 2007Roger Clarke, BOU Honorary Treasurer from 2000-2006, passed away on Sunday 28 January 2007. He was 54 and leaves wife, Janis, and children, Bethan and Mostyn. Since being diagnosed with cancer early in 2006, Roger worked feverishly on several projects and books, including a second edition to Donald Watson's Hen Harrier Poyser monograph. He dreaded the illness taking hold to the extent he couldn't work, and he was working till late on Sunday evening, emailing friends and colleagues on various matters, so the end was, thankfully, swift. Roger was recently presented with BOU's Union Medal and the full citation can be seen here.
